How long does internet installation have?
I got fiber net and the default selection is to take a tech come out and install it. I read online this tin take 4 hours. Has anyone gotten their net installed and how long did it take? Too, could I simply go to the store, choice up the modem, and install it myself although it never gave me that option when I registered online?

Since they have a install scheduled you lot don't accept ran yet. Installs I've done typically run anywhere from two-four hours. If your in the "sticks" I've had jobs run 6-8 hours. Depending on the size of your home near of the piece of work is getting the fiber to your house, then it depends on where you want your RG installed. I've started jobs without the customer beingness there many time'south because I had to climb a lot of poles or run a lot of underground fiber. Promise it works out well for you.

Information technology depends on how they come into the house, plus how and where they need to go within the house, etc. Hard to give an exact installation time. I would definitely let for a expert few hours.

It was a good 3 hours. I had same experience where tech had to run fiber from street to entry point in firm, and so fish it through pipe to interior closet in firm. Once he did that he needed to go to some central location to activate the fiber. This is at new construction.
This conspicuously was not a possible self-install installation.

Mine took virtually iii-4 hours. Mine took about 3 hours. This was new construction.
